Violinist Ilmar Gavilan, a native of Havana, Cuba, has had a remarkable performing career that has taken him all over the world, including Phoenix and our symphony orchestra. He leads with his ensemble, The Harlem Quartet in music by women who didn't follow the rules, this Saturday night, November 11th at Central United Methodist Church in Phoenix.
